The Global Justice Movement and the Meltdown of Neoliberalism
While global capitalism is hardly defeated, it is reeling from its own contradictions and from the concerted resistance of people around the world. With global financial markets in disarray, the Doha Round of the WTO at a virtual standstill and the World Bank and IMF trying to sound like populist institutions, there are important openings for the global justice movement. But it is no time for complacency. Another world is possible, but only if we develop our strategy in concert and cooperation with people's movements around the world.
