The Hunger for Justice Series: Lottie Cunningham and Josh Mayer speak with Anuradha Mittal about Nicaragua’s Failed Revolution
The Hunger for Justice Series is a weekly live broadcast about how we collectively shape a Post-Covid food system rooted in justice. This week in partnership with Oakland Institute, we will be joined by Indigenous lawyer Lottie Cunningham and research fellow Josh Mayer of the Oakland Institute. Lottie and Josh will be discussing Nicaragua’s Failed Revolution, and how members of communities have been subjected to intense violence, including murders, kidnappings, burning of homes, and other intimidation, linked to land invasions. This discussion will be moderated by founder and executive director of the Oakland Institute, Anuradha Mittal. Please note the time change: this episode will take place at 1PM EDT [10AM PDT].
