We Stand Against Hate, Bigotry, and White Supremacy

We are outraged by the appalling acts of racism, bigotry, and hatred carried out by white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia.

But Charlottesville is not an isolated incident. Violent hate groups are emboldened by a President who continues to signal his support for the racists, white supremacists, and neo-Nazis behind the "Unite the Right" rally. The Trump administration's ongoing employment of senior advisers with white supremacist ties — even after Steve Bannon's departure — is fueling these hate-filled movements. And this weekend, white supremacists are planning to hold rallies in both San Francisco and Berkeley.

We cannot stand by and allow this hatred to destroy our communities and nation. We stand together with the countless courageous organizations, communities, and individuals that are fighting deep-rooted injustice and structural racism in the US. And we will stand with them in the face of white supremacy this weekend.
